  • Developing, reviewing and updating standard operating procedures periodically to keep minimizing inefficiencies and pilferages
  • Work closely with architects and interior designers to timely develop store layouts and designs while ensuring they meet project needs 
  • Coordinate and lead design meetings with Managing Director to seek timely approvals
  • Take quotations from vendors, make accurate estimations and timely prepare Bill of Quantity (BoQ)Get BoQ timely verified from Internal Audit
  • Present BoQ to senior management for timely approval
  • Coordinate with Legal department for finalizing contract of any sort to ensure that company’s interest is protected
  • Coordinate with all contractors to ensure strict adherence to agreed work standards.
  • Coordinate with purchase department and related vendors to ensure timely availability of all sorts of supplies and materials to avoid unwanted work delays.
  • Coordinate with all contractors to assess provided materials and supplies for the required quality
  • Coordinate with company’s civil engineer to arrange quality audit repeatedly during construction phase to ensure work is done as per acceptable / set standards
  • Ensure timely completion of construction and renovation work as per required standards
  • Coordinate with administration department for the arrangement of contractual staff for security and housekeeping and ensure timely deployment
  • Coordinate with administration department to timely resolve any queries / complaints with respect to provided services of security and house keeping
  • Finalize over all brand management strategy for Master Mega Stores in close consultation with Managing Director.
  • Prepare brand capsule and brand charter as per finalized brand strategy to be presented to Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director for approval
  • Prepare a complete advertising plan in relation to approved brand charter and present to Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director for approval
  • Execute approved advertising plan efficiently and effectively to achieve maximum results
  • Conduct market survey annually to assess brand recall and brand awareness of Master Mega Stores
  • Finalize visual merchandizing plan in close consultation with interior designer and present Managing Director for approval.
  • Timely execute approved visual merchandizing plan.
  • Regularly review and evaluate displays themes and make necessary changes while keeping Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director in loop.
  • Regularly conduct research for new product ideas and designs consistent with brand charter.
  • Perform slow and fast moving items analysis on monthly basis and report to Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director
  • Present new product ideas along with their costing, pricing and vendor details to Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director for approval.
  • Get new products timely manufactured from approved vendors as per decided standards and designs and display it at Mega Stores.
  • Analyze customers’ response towards products once in a quarter and report to Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director.
  • Prepare sales forecast along with annual sales targets and present to Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director.
  • Analyze sales to revise targets on quarterly basis and present to Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director for approval.
  • Inspire, motivate and drive sales team to achieve set sales targets
  • Prepare variance analysis report and present to Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director
  • Conduct quarterly meetings for setting / reviewing / revising KPIs and KRAs of reporting staff. As well as conduct time to time performance monitoring sessions (as & when required).
  • Perform Performance evaluations of immediate staff on quarterly basis.
  • Developing department staff through formal and informal coaching, counseling & mentoring sessions.
  • Succession Planning: Develop a successor of himself as well as successors of his immediate subordinates.
  • Conduct final (technical) selection interview of staff needed to be hired in respective department.
  • Any other task assigned by the management related to retail operation
