Locate vendors of material, equipment and / or supplies and interview them in order to determine product availability.
Visit factory daily take demands according to actual usage of material, make demands and process them.
Keep a check on inventory purchased against factory demands, take physical evaluation and maintain report of inventory.
Analyze market and delivery systems in order to access present and future material availability
Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery and supplies
Ensure quality maintained purchasing
Ensure strict compliance with the set processes at the time of purchasing materials / products
Plan, organize, track and disseminate information related to Raw Material Suppliers
Work closely with suppliers to optimize supplier process
Assist with and train team on procurement, warehouse and contract policies and procedures
Actively participate in internal meetings on procurement including presentations to the senior management
Perform other related tasks as required
