A USA-based medical Company is looking for an experienced “MEDICAL BILLER/COLLECTOR”. The candidate must possess knowledge of all insurance carriers billing guidelines

Full Job Description

Must scrub all claims in que for submission within different systems
Able to Learn and be comfortable with changes
Follow up with any outstanding claims
Must be able to identify and submit denials in a timely fashion based on payers timely filling of claims
Must be able to work aging reports and resolve accounts accordingly to maintain a clean aging
Must be able to read all EOB’s denials and request for further claim follow up
Should be able to contact insurance companies for claims resolution as required.
Should have knowledge of payment posting and adjustments as needed.
Able to identify and find resolutions for denials including meeting all payer guidelines on reconsideration, level of appeals and process. Should be able to escalate any payer issue identified.
Sound knowledge of Medical Billing for offshore doctors.
knowledge of CPT CODING, Modifiers, and ICD-10
Used electronic charge capture practices such as billing and account receivables (BAR) system and medical billing clearinghouse accounts to submit codes and invoices on time.
Should be a Team Player with their team members
Follow up on past invoices and delinquent accounts to reduce the number of unpaid and outstanding balances.
Should have relevant experience of at least 2 years.
