Seeking a Medical Billing Supervisor to manage a process and department that facilitates the production of emergency room medical bills and records data for requesting attorneys. The supervisor will manage a small local team but also be a key contributor as the liaison for requesting parties, while gathering relevant information and timely submitting to management for their review.
Requirements:
- Four-year undergraduate degree
- Two+ years professional experience (defined below), including one year of managerial/supervisory duties
- Relevant experience; generating or requesting, and reviewing medical bills and/or records for a medical provider (professional or facility)
- Prefer Experience with a healthcare, records retrieval, revenue cycle management (HIM, ROI, UB-04, HCFA 1500), or Needles software a plus
- Attention to detail; organization skills; ability to self-prioritize; ability to supervise / project manage a process and execute with various simultaneous requesting parties
- Professional presence in internal and external communications
Duties:
Timely manage checklist to ensure accuracy on all bills and records requests and data entry; over-communicating and internally documenting status is a must
- Request and obtain necessary documents from medical providers; perform detailed review of records in accordance with Company policies
- Execute to results: complete monthly quota
Ad hoc projects administered by department head
