As a Medical Billing & Coding Specialist, you will be responsible for the following job duties.

You are expected to follow HIPPA, OSHA, Medicaid, and Medicare laws/rules/guidelines. This may include maintaining patient records and ensuring information and network security.
As a Billing & Coding Manager, you will be responsible for the security and accuracy of the patient records they maintain, which requires remaining current with software and network security issues.
You are required to implement new changes in ICD 10 and CPT Codes on a timely function.
Your job responsibilities encompassing of medical coding, charge entry, claims submissions, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, collections management
Ensures that the activities of the billing operations are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department protocol and follows federal, state, and payer regulations, guidelines, and requirements
You are required to keep yourself updated about the changes in Commercial Insurances, Medicaid, Medicare, Worker Compensation, and Auto-accident insurances.
Thorough knowledge and working experience of CPT and ICD10 codes, HCPCS, UB04 claim forms, HCFA 1500, HIPAA, medical terminology, appeal processes, billing, and insurance regulations, and insurance benefits
You are required to keep 120 days collectible under 4%
You will be required to take the patient's telephone calls for 3 hours per day.
Strong ability to handle problems consisting of multiple variables in an organized manner
Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure, with frequent interruptions from staff and US point of contact, and Client without being distracted.
Maintain confidentiality of the organization's customers and data
Educate Physicians, NP, PA, and other staff members about the changes/appropriate coding on periodic bases to improve efficiencies and productivity.
