Cleans, sterilizes, disinfects, orders/stocks and maintains routine anesthesia equipment and supplies.
Daily care of patients present in ICU.
Able to identify life threatining/ Serous conditions and inform the specialist/ Duty doctor prompily.
Hourly monitoring of the patients in ICU i-e Vital etc.
Should be familiar with the equipment present in ICU unit & their usage.
Should be able to administer basic life support and familiar to work as a team player in advanced life support conditions.
Assist in daily Ward rounds and record the orders in comprehensible manners.
Administer medication and be able to carry out orders.
Maintain reccord in clear and orderly fashion.
Maintain and organize stock of medicine/oxygen equipment etc in ICU.
Perform basic troubleshooting for monitors and equipments and reports defective equipment and equipment malfunctions appropriately/immediately.
Maintain established departmental policies, procedures, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention control standards.
Documents and maintains preventative maintenance and quality records.
Assists with transport of patients and laboratory specimens as necessary.
Ability to travel between facilities or other treatment locations as necessary.
