Ensure compliance to all corporate directives, SOPs and management instruction given time to time as regards to safety and security of the store.
Closely monitor the national and local security environment for proactive identification of threats.
Conduct necessary trainings of security staff on post orders , weapon handling and customer services.
Effective implementation of loss prevention by identifying high risk areas and recommend preventive measures to minimize the store losses.
Manage and ensure continuous improvement of all security matters in particular against shoplifting, theft, pilferage, robbery, fraud, trespassing, vandalism, fraud or any other specific criminal actions against the interest of the store.
Identify and Intimate the trouble areas and short comings as regards to safety, security or any other matter against the interest of the store and come up with the proactive solution to support the operations.
Keep regional security manager and store manager informed of all activities or incidents counterproductive towards corporate interest.
Ensure proper attendance and shift management of third party security staff and manage all financial aspects i.e. security invoices etc. within given/approved budget.
Ensure proper compliance of third party staff duty roster and practical implementation as per post order.
Constantly take note of safety and security gaps and report and propose remedial and or corrective measure.
Continue to create proactive employee awareness program as regards to safety and security matters within the store.
Enhance emergency management and safety measures.
Develop a trustworthy and supportive relationship within team and other stakeholders at store level. i.e. store managers, FM’s and all department staffs.
Ensure continuous training and developments program for teams to enhance their capabilities and understanding about their function.
