Position: Area Sales Manager

Location: Multiple positions within Punjab

Experience: Must have more than 7 years’ experience in similar capacity. ONLY applicants having experience in fashion retail (footwear) will be considered.

Traveling: Extensive traveling required to visit retail stores in different cities in allocated area which can also be included stays in other cities for more than one day.

Education: Bachelors or above in Sales & Marketing

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement commercial business strategy and plans at the area level to achieve sales targets.
  • Developing and implementing annual market-competitive sales plan following the commercial business strategy for the assigned area.
  • Contribute towards the implementation of Sales Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines for the assigned product line and ensure that all procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering a high-quality service to the customers.
  • Inspect stock availability and VM at branches level any communicate any issues with relevant teams.
  • Ensure that all staff at branches are well aware of their duties and work accordingly.
  • Ensure stocks replenishment and branch wise forecast is followed up on monthly basis.
  • Achieve annual business plan to deliver agreed channel / brand revenue KPI’s and targets.
  • Be responsible for the successful delivery of services and the monitoring of the area’s performance through the Sales team.
  • Coordinating & executing new product launches and sales promotion activities in collaboration with Marketing and Sales & Operations team.

Metro�s first branch was established in 1986 with a commitment to serve the footwear needs of the community. Having surpassed the expectation of our Customers by virtue of quality and durability the next phase was the expansion of operations. As the population of twin cities (Rawalpinidi-Islamabad) was expanding sharply, therefore a great need was felt to enlarge the operations at different locations to provide quality products to Metro�s Customers. For this purpose two more branches were opened in the Twin Cities in the year 2000. Gradually, the heat of the Metro brand goes beyond the boundaries. In 2000, management decided to open a Metro Mall in Mirpur Azad Jamu & Kashmir to offer various quality products to the Customers. Today Metro is not only a Shoe Brand but it�s a Brand known for its quality standards having multiple products being offered to its customers. Considering the public response and immaculate demand of Metro�s products, Management has decided to expand its operations and have a three phase expansion strategy for future growth. In the initial phase we have planned to open five outlets before December 31, 2007 at various leading shopping centers in various cities of the country which include Peshawar, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Faisalabad. Secondly Metro has planned to enter Lahore which is a big market for Metro Brand. For this purpose there is a plan to have our own central warehousing facility at some prime location in the city. Thirdly Metro has planned to open its International branches at various attractive business locations like New York, London, Manchester, etc. This decision has been incorporated as Metro has a large number of its loyal customers in these world trade centers. In order to support the whole business process management has planned to implement ERP solutions which will be effective within a short span of time.
