Summary: Manage and oversee the efficient functioning of the business development (Sales & marketing) department by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
1. NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
1.1. Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
1.2. Cold call as appropriate within your market and/or international market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
1.3. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
1.4. Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization and build relationships with new clients.
1.5. Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
1.6. Plan approaches and pitches. (Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives).
1.7. Participate in pricing the solution/service
1.8. Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. * Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
1.9. Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
1.10. Communicate MiceSus solutions development to prospective clients.
1.11. Efficient and smartly doing show and/or project marketing to generate sales leads.
2. CLIENT RETENTION:
2.1. Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
2.2. Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
2.3. Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
3. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PLANNING:
3.1. Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
3.2. Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
3.3. Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
3.4. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
4. SALES TARGET:
4.1. Meet yearly budget committed in terms of revenue, profit, cost, etc.
4.2. Smartly monitoring the sales targets and taking actions independently to achieve the sales target.
5. ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:
5.1. Establish & manage client accounts efficiently.
5.2. Sustain professional client relationship for the business development.
5.3. Always lead your lead and provide professional and friendly assistance and follow-up as required to sustain the ownership.
5.4. Manage cash flow and account receivables.
6.1. Efficient and smartly doing show and/or project marketing to generate sales leads.
7. MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH:
7.1. Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
7.2. Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.
7.3. Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
7.4. Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
7.5. Ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
7.6. Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light.
7.7. Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.
7.8. Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.
7.9. Understand the company’s goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company’s performance.
8.1. Planning and presentations (say hello to PowerPoint).
8.2. Making professional presentation to maintain and/or exceed MiceSus expectations.
8.3. Effective and efficient MiceSus introduction and/or presentation in front of clients.
9. MANAGE THE DAY-TO-DAY AFFAIRS OF THE DIVISION:
9.1. Improve market share in their respective field.
9.2. Ensure efficient and quality delivery of projects.
9.3. Handle staff welfare and grievance.
9.4. Uphold company reputation and image.
9.5. Manage client relationship and expectation.
10. RECORDS & REPORTS:
10.1. Writing weekly WIP (work in progress) reports and submits to management regularly without any fail at the end of every week (Thursday).
10.2. Maintaining show reports on daily basis with progressive development and upload to CLOUDS on daily basis before leaving the office for management access.

4. Working experience: minimum 3 years of working experience in Pakistan and/or overseas is compulsory to apply for this job position (experience certificate will be required in the final stage of interview prior to selection).
