Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Our challenges

We're looking for senior developers and supporting units for our Pakistan office in Karachi who will help us grow the development team while making sure that we lead from the front in the technology space.

Your role

We try to match individual to their skills and preferences. Right now we are looking for Software Quality Assurance (SQA) with 3 years of experience. The individual will analyze and test software during development in order to ensure quality.

Individual would be interacting with international teams and would be working alongside other QA Specialist/Team lead. He/She will be responsible for assessing quality during development and prior releases. Main responsibilities would include:

Ongoing QA during Sprints / prior launch
Creating/Maintaining bug tickets in GitHub
Communication/participation in meetings to represent QA point of view
Some interaction with third party components - Contentful/Stripe/GraphQL (easily learnable)
Helping along planning/adjusting of QA strategies against agile project workflow
"Exploratory testing" which involves ongoing brainstorming of test scenarios against complex functionality/logic being developed.
Overall being of proactive on proposing new ideas/supporting developers and clients.
Creating/maintaining test deliverables (release reports/mind maps etc.)
Understanding of Software Development lifecycle (good to have)
Experience in testing consumer software (Bonus: Mobile Application experience)
