Automation Test Engineer

Knowledge of data structures and algorithms and good object-oriented design and codin Minerets Tech Company, one of the software leading companies , is seeking to recruit Automation Lead Engineer in Pakistan :

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1. Build an automation team.

2. Plan and prioritize testing activities.

3. Write automation scripts and implement software applications.

4. Build API/Mobile/Web Automation Framework.

5. Utilize appropriate testing tools for both front-end and back-end Quality Assurance.

6. Utilize experience (technical, functional) to create automation test strategies and execution plans.

7. Set up, manage, and monitor test environments, streamlining release management to QA environments.

8. Oversee team members' work to ensure that they adhere to specifications.

9. Work with the engineering time to ensure everyone is applying the best test standards and strategies.

10. Review and analyse requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback.

11. Perform requirement analysis to find issues early in the software development phase.

12. Identify quality issues and create test reports.

13. Integrate and establish QA testing tools and processes.

14. Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

15. Install and set up databases and backup applications to prevent errors and protect against data loss.

16. Other relevant responsibilities.

Skills and experience:

Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or any related discipline. 5+ years of experience building and executing automation scripts. 2+ years of experience leading automation Test Engineers and ensure testing and automation of functional areas is complete, tracked & on time.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Selenium and Appium.
Experience in services/API automation testing.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Knowledge of data structures and algorithms and good object-oriented design and coding skills.
Familiarity with agile methodologies, scrum and kanban, estimation and sizing.
Hands on expertise in various automation framework. Self-managed, organized to get the work done.
Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements.
