QA engineer's responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions.
SQA will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.) Ultimately,
SQA should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that aspects of performance and scalability are covered by tests.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Document, Report and address the application bugs with the help of the software development team
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Experience in cross-browser testing on all major browsers and platforms including mobile platforms.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of QA experience in a reputable software development company.
- Ability to test in different environments, different OS, devices, screen resolutions.
- API Testing knowledge4)Sound knowledge and practical experience of manual testing in a software environment5
- Very good communication skills with the team.
- Excellent English language skills (written).
- Good knowledge of SQL.
