• Develop a digital strategy, as required vide clause 1.3 of the Enterprise Technology Governance and Risk Management Framework 

Development of customer focused digital products and services.

• End to end digitization of processes for delivery of digital products and services.

• Interoperability of delivery channels.

• Review and update digital strategy on annual basis.

• Prepare and suggest the roadmap of digitizing/value creation in existing internal processes as well as for customer offerings and create new revenue streams.

• Facilitate management in digital transformation through digital customer acquisition, creating partnerships and cross-sell/up-sell etc.

• Arrange for adoption of innovative technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and big data analytics etc. for data analysis and acquiring valuable insights from data repositories.

• Study the innovative technology-driven solutions especially in the area of payments and suggest their feasibility and adoption.

• Establish digital channels including but not limited to asset and liability apps, b2b portals, website, IVR, USSD, Cards, and SMS based products and services

• Developing high quality UI/UX, testing including customer testing protocols

• Achieve set targets on MAU, DAUs, # of transactions, other engagement metrics including customer pain point proactive reductions.

• Align technology & digital transformation strategy with Bank’s digital vision.

• Leads strategy, budgeting, implementation and operations of digital assets.

• Leverage industry-knowledge and innovation to identify and build new revenue streams for the Bank.

• Act as a trusted advisor to the Chief Digital & Financial Officer, Management team in all digital transformation matters and ensure smooth transition.

• Build center of expertise within digital unit to support evolution.

• As a transformation leader, bring change in mindsets by working directly with the stakeholders.

• Introduce and ensure that agile project management principles and processes are in place for effective delivery of digital projects.

• Ensure that sustainable and effective mechanisms are in place to ensure stability of digital assets that have gone into production by working closely with IT teams.

• Bring innovation in solutions and delivery to ensure faster time to market for new digital initiatives with agility.

• Act as a technology business partner and manage stakeholder expectations. Help spread awareness and understanding of digital technologies and how they relate to business empowerment and enablement.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with business teams, internal customers, and stakeholders to advise best practices, refine, translate, and analyze their requirements and provide tailored-solutions.

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL) is Pakistan's largest digital bank with over 20 million registered and 8 million active digital wallets. Backed by VEON Co., MMBL started operations in April 2012 and launched branch-less banking operations under the brand name JAZZCASH in partnership with Pakistan's largest telecom operator JAZZ in Nov 2012. Being a hybrid model that combines traditional micro finance with mobile / digital banking technologies, the bank now operates with 74 branches, with more than 1559 employees, a network of over 90000 branch-less banking agents (growing) and a USSD (GSM) based digital channel in the country offering savings, micro enterprise (MSME) loans, small housing loans, remittances, collection (of utility bills and loan installments), mobile wallets, insurance, G2P, B2B & B2P payments and thus playing a leading role in promotion of financial inclusion. Despite being a young bank, Mobilink bank has emerged as one of the front runners in the sector and achieved financial break-even within four years of commencing operations in 2016, one of the fastest in the industry. Financial performance of the Bank has been remarkable in 2016, 2017 and 2018 Mobilink Bank & JAZZ, under the brand name JAZZCASH, envision to become market leaders in branchless banking, digital banking and micro financial services offering simple, innovative and value added products and services to the people of Pakistan. MMBL game plan aims at taking banking from confines of limited number of brick and mortar structures to cell phones and thus make a significant contribution in banking the unbanked through digital channels. The Bank so far has financed over 500,000 individual micro and small businesses since inception of the Bank in 2012 and is the proud recipient of “Bank of the Unbanked Award” in 2018 and 2019.
