MobiWac is looking for a Digital Content Coordinator/Writer to join the team! The Digital Content Coordinator/Writer will be responsible for coordinating content and traffic flow for multiple digital properties, as well as sourcing, pitching and writing branded content for different brands. The position will implement social media strategies on a day-to-day basis, work closely with the Back Issues Department to coordinate marketing efforts and assist other members of the Publishing and Internet teams as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage online content for several digital properties within multiple content management systems in an organized and detailed manner
Manage content traffic flow among cross-functional teams to ensure all content is delivered, proofed, edited, uploaded and published in a timely manner and in compliance with the company’s identity and online guidelines, as well as digital best practices
Source, pitch and write branded content for digital magazines
Moderate forums for restricted comments
Test all new and existing hypertext links, landing pages and images
Design banners, schedule sales and manage email marketing campaigns for back issue sales and new issue announcements
Assist other members of the Publishing and Internet teams as needed
Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous online experience required
Open source content management system experience required
Microsoft Office suite skills required
Experience with Wordpress required
Basic image editing experience, including cropping, resizing, etc.
Working knowledge of basic HTML
Excellent writing, editing and communication skills; knowledge of writing for web
Experience working with email service provider interface (Constant Contact, etc.)
Experience with FTP programs (Filezilla, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to work proactively, achieve goals and manage time to meet deadlines required
Ability to work independently or in a team
Marketing experience a plus
Online-related testing experience a plus
Ability to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision. Self-starter a plus!

EDUCATION/TRAINING

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
