Review the accuracy and completeness of financial documents.
Planning and performing the internal audit.
Reviewing the Completeness and Accuracy of purchase documents and timely releasing payments.
Preparing the monthly payroll of the employees at the Branch Office.
Reviewing the sales tax documents and reconciliation with the record.
Monitoring financial processes and internal controls at the branch level.
Involved in preparation of the details for the WHT and sales tax.
Developing and presenting reports analyzing the company’s current accounting needs and proposing viable solutions.
Employing assistants and providing directives to maintain the functions of the department and ensure the tasks such as payroll, sales, procurement, stores, and other finance-related tasks are managed properly.
Ensuring smooth running of ERP Finance module and coordination with IT team to improve the system.
Preparation of Annual Return Report.
Preparing the monthly bank reconciliation.
Preparation of EOBI pension application when required.
At the year-end with the assistance of accounts assistant preparing final accounts papers including a list of unpaid bonuses, unpaid wage, unpaid salary, sundry debtors for store supply, certificate of balance confirmation, a summary of coal production, and sale at the end of each year.
Preparing the liability reports fortnightly and ensuring the payments are properly booked in the subsequent month.
Engage Mine Engineers too work on the cost of new mines, projects, preparing budgeted vs. actual expenses
Assist Head of Finance with Budgeting and cost controlling initiatives.
Audit and ensure internal controls are working effectively.
Conduct Annual External Audit of the Region
