Morayma Consulting & Business Development Services Pvt. Ltd is looking for an up-coming project for national experts for supporting the Local Governance of KP and Punjab in policy reforms and institutional strengthening and improving Domestic Resource Mobilisation (tax/VAT).

(National) Expert pool 1: “Policy Reforms and Institutional Strengthening (PR & IS)

Required qualifications

· Education/training: experts with a university degree (master’s) in political science, public policy, business management, public administration, economics, law, or similar (bachelor’s/master’s)

· Language : experts with knowledge of English (C1) in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, experts with knowledge of Urdu (C2) in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

· General professional experience: experts with 15 years of professional experience in the good governance/public administration sectors.

· Specific professional experience: experts with 5 years of professional experience in developing training curriculum /development in the context of federalism/local development

· Regional experience: experts with 2 years of work experience in South Asia

· Development cooperation (DC) experience: experts with 10 years of experience in Development Cooperation

(National) Expert pool 2: “Support to the implementation of improving Domestic Resource Mobilisation”

Required qualifications

· Education/training : experts with a university degree (master’s) in political science, public policy, business management, public administration, economics, law, finance or similar (bachelor’s/master’s) or a professional qualification in accounting and Finance e.g. Chartered Accountancy.

· Language: experts with knowledge of English (C1) in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, 3 experts with knowledge of Urdu (C2) in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

· General professional experience: experts with 15 years of professional experience in the area of taxation/public finance sectors particularly focusing on areas of property tax and General Sales Tax on Services.

· Specific professional experience: 2 experts with 10 years of professional experience in general sales tax on services (VAT), 1 expert with 10 years of professional experience in urban immovable property tax (UIPT)

· Regional experience: experts with 5 years of work experience in Pakistan

· Development cooperation (DC) experience: 3 experts with 3 years of experience in Development Cooperation
