We immediately require candidate for the position of “network engineer” with 2- 3 years of experience in networking / system administration preferably in software development industry.
This position will be responsible to assist team lead in installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of internet/network hardware and software.
- Analyze the processes and recommend improvements.
- Hands on experience on cisco switches l2, l3 and firewalls.
- Monitor and analyze systems performance and perform capacity planning activities, test data and recommend hardware or software for purchase.
- Security event monitoring & assessment.
- Should have knowledge in remote management.
- Perform routine monitoring and maintenance of network infrastructure
- Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications.
Skills:
- Basic networking protocols. (ip, icmp, snmp, wmi, vlans, switching, routing
- Showing persistence, perseverance, and determination
- Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in overcoming challenging situations
- Showing resolve in searching for alternative solutions to problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Tools:
- Microsoft server 2008/2012/2016
- Active directory, dns, dhcp
- Nms (solarwinds/zabbix/nagios/junos etc)
- Wds, backups
