SQL Server Database Administrator will be responsible for:
- Creating and managing triggers, indexes and constraints on database.
- Creating and managing stored procedures using T-SQL.
- Query optimization for different new or existing module.
- Installation of SQL Server software and related products.
- Establish and maintain backups on local and remote media.
- Performance monitoring using performance monitor, DBCC commands, maintenance plans, Third Party Tools.
- Analyze applications performance using Query-Execution plans, Index utilization and Procedure Cache Utilization.
- In Database Programming, Use of Indexes, Normalization Techniques, Execution Plans, T-SQL and Stored Procedures.
- Plan Growth and Changes (Capacity planning) with Team. (Import/Export).
- Writing Database Procedures, Functions and Triggers. Tune Database Queries.
- Optimization of SQL Server, Stored Procedures and SQL Scripts.
- Monitoring application related jobs and Data Replication activities.
Requirements:
- SQL, Query tuning and optimization working knowledge.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in SQL server Administration
