Backend Developer

We are searching for an experienced, highly technical and hands-on Backend Developer to join our Marketing Team. In this role, you’ll be involved in the development projects across predominantly WordPress, LAMP Stack, JSON and other related technologies.In addition to having a proven technical background, you must also have proven management capability and a track record in the leadership of WordPress projects, themes, plug-ins, software development, and delivery of projects within a WordPress and software development environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

Applicable software coding conventions
Source/Configuration management procedures
Conducting website performance tests and fixes
Experience designing and developing responsive WordPress websites
Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
Have sound knowledge in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, XML Parsing, JQuery
Ensuring high-performance and availability and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
Have hands-on experience on WordPress and Custom Theme & Plugin development
Work to resolve any items/bugs/changes assigned by the Quality Assurance Team
Write a unit-test code and perform unit-tests on the developed software
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}·
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
