Key Job Responsibilities:

· Organize warehouse to cater for the efficient house-keeping of stock, according to various types of business, i.e., pharmaceutical, consumer, health care, etc., creating provision for mini and major warehousing.

· Isolate stock storage for products with pungent smell.

· Stack goods as per pre-designed storage arrangements, segregating stock by type of businesses, like pharmaceutical, consumer, health care, etc. and placing in respective storage bins. Create a provision of segregating stock as per Principal, within a group, and various batches. Ensure proper labeling on the racks, indicating Principals names, etc.

· Segregate pharmaceutical stock, as per principal-wise, product-wise & batch-wise etc. to cater for the first expiry first out (FEFO) rule.

· Ensure that no stock is stored on bare floor, at least pallets be used for temporary stock storage.

· Ensure temperature controlled products (cool chain) are stored in the refrigerators at 2-8 degree C and the drugs requiring below 25 degree C in air conditioner room or any other temperature sensitive products as per instruction of Regulatory Affairs Officer. Place Ice pack in the deep freezer for freezing of the solvent and use freeze ice pack alongwith ice box/cooler for delivery of cool chain products to the market and thermopole box for dispatch to depots.

· Maintain temperature during storage of the product as per the requirements for the cold chain products and the products requiring temperature below 25 degree C in the air conditioners room. The temperature monitoring will be carry out using the certified thermometers and fill the temperature log sheet as per the procedure.

· Frequently physically check stock condition and maintain inventory. Periodically carry out complete stock-taking at least once in a month, in coordination with Depot Accountant and Depot Manager. Record discrepancies, if any, noted during the stock checking and discuss with Depot Manager for possible causes and recovery thereof.

· Facilitate internal as well as external auditors for stock-taking and also stock checking by the representatives of various banks, insurance companies, Principals, etc.

· Plan stock receipt, ensuring adequate rack space availability, staff presence for stock handling/ un-loading from the vans/ trucks. Inspect stock, as per transfer invoices, at the time of arrival for any physical damage and shortages.
