Major Responsibilities:

·         Ability to speak and listen well in local languages, and the national language

·         Ability to stand in front of a group without showing fear or arrogance

·         Ability to implement mobilization skills with flexible approach

·         To organize community events and meetings, forum meetings, mobilization activities, surveys, monitoring initiatives and personal counselling for target audience

·         To manage teams and leading them towards project objectives achievement

·         To maintain project records and keeping them updated

·         To utilize some specific budget heads and reporting expense against utilization each month

·         To report on monthly basis against monthly targets and presenting progress in meetings

·         Strong morals viz. honesty, transparency, generosity, altruism and respect

·         Well motivated, team member able to work alone and/or without supervision

·         Willingness to undertake further training offered by and required by the program

·         Submit work plans & activity reports on required timeline

·         Develop & submit fortnightly work plans & daily activity report

·         Get every work plan & report signed by the line manager

 

Personal Attributes:

·         Ability to read and write well in local languages, and the national language.

·         Computer skills or potential to learn them, focus on word processing

·         Internet skills or potential to learn them; focus on research (and email)

·         Language: Urdu and English is compulsory both reading and writing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge and Skills:

·         Knowledge of Community activation and mobilization tools

·         Professional skills to work on MS Office applications especially MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power point 

Abilities:

·         Ability to produce a positive and effective environment both in field and in office  

·         Ability to travel out station

·         Ability to maintain the organizational behavior internally

·         Ability to build a professional team and maintain equity among staff

·         Ability to face criticism

·         Ability to utilize resources effectively

·         Ability to follow directions accurately

·         Highlight the work of Muslim Aid among stakeholders
