we are seeking a Sr. Web developer for a long term career opportunity.As a Web Developer you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of public facing web and e-commerce sites; and their integration with ancillary systems. You will work closely with internal leadership to define and execute industry leading strategies and deliver innovative, content and feature rich virtual experiences.

As the Web Developer you will:

Design, develop, test and maintain responsive web site(s) including, but not limited to e-commerce
Work within a defined website platform, including Shopify or WordPress
Optimize web sites for platform speed/performance
Continually enhance web sites to maximize use of social networks and emerging technologies
Design, implement and maintain databases in a client/server environment with respect to access methods, access time, data validation and integrity checks, organization, security, documentation, and statistical methods
Develop and integrate with streamlined services (RESTful, SOAP)
Identify, develop and implement new ideas for continual innovation and process improvement
Work in a team environment, demonstrating leadership, innovation and initiative
Review code for accuracy and efficiency
Troubleshoot and resolve staff and customer web support issues
As a successful candidate you will have the following:
University or College degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
2+ years work experience developing web and e-commerce sites
Knowledge of relational database concepts, usage, design and best practices
Experience with Phpstorm, Sublime and Visual Studio
Demonstrated proficiency in PHP, MySQL, MariaDB, Laravel, Codeigniter, Git Bash, Bitbucket,HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, Jquery, Angular JS, ,ReactJS, Bootstrap, Foundation and CSS3 Animations.
High attention to detail and ability to problem solve
Experience with 3rd party integrations such as (Facebook/Twitter/Google Maps/Payment Processors, Paypal etc.)
Experience with web analytics, SEO marketing and related tools.
Experience working with Content Management Systems
