An Account Officer is responsible for the day to day financial transactions of the company. This position requires keen attention to detail and customer service skills. The ideal candidate should be a team player, enjoy working with a variety of clients, and have knowledge of basic accounting functions. We also value those who are ready to learn and adapt with a fast-paced work environment.

Look for inefficiencies and improvement opportunities in the budget, and make recommendations to management

Handle accounts payable and receivable

Maintain records of business costs, such as labor and material

Check invoices for inaccuracies

Reconcile accounts with the general ledger

Handle general account queries

Contact clients about invoices that are past due

Familiarity with general software, such as Microsoft Office suite

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks

Comfort collaborating with a team
