Reporting to the Development Manager, you will be responsible for working on the design and implementation of Java applications. You will be part of a passionate Agile team built on creativity and passion for software development

Responsibilities:

You will be working in a fast-paced Agile-based development environment.
Analyze and detail product requirements.
Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
Write unit tests for Java and JavaScript.
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for design reviews.
Defect correction.
Document software components

Skills:

1-2 years of experience in Java Development
Good understanding of web based technology, MVC applications, HTML5, CSS3, JSP, Servlet, AJAX, JQuery, Eclipse and Subversion/Git
Ability to troubleshoot, research, and work through complex problems
Understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and methodology
Hands on experience in both HR & Financial modules of SAP will be preferred
Must have strong organization and good attention to detail
Must be good in problem solving and analytical skills
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
Should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Minimum qualification is Bachelors of Computer Science or equivalent

Assets:

J2EE, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, JSP, Servlet, Spring, Hibernate, Eclipse and Subversion/Git
Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
Experience in Software development of enterprise applications like (Financial & HCM applications)
SQL and Relational Databases
Agile based development environment
