Nextbridge Private Limited urgently requires Software Quality Assurance Engineers in its Lahore office.
Bachelor's or Master's degree holders in CS/IT/SE from HEC recognized universities having 2-3 years of relevant experience and good communication skills are encouraged to apply.
Job Description:
- Review and analyze user stories to determine reasonability, testability, resource requirements
- Should have test to break attitude
- Provide work estimates for testing user stories and should be able to participate in sprint planning
- Highly collaborative and proactive and be able to give/receive critical feedback
- Solid ability to take ownership and initiative
- Estimation, planning and control of QA activities
- Should be able to Document test results, create/update requirements and test plan documentation as needed and communicate any significant issues identified during quality assurance activities in a timely manner
- Should be able to assist in bug regression, step by step troubleshooting and problem isolation
- To be actively involved with the testing and validation of the software
- Ensure testing is on schedule and in line with the processes
- Review requirement specification documents and software design specification documents and develop a comprehensive understanding of testing requirements
- Communicating with Team members to streamline the execution of test plans and processes with them
- Must have experience in Web/Mobile application testing
- Test cases and test data creation against business needs
- Boundary value analysis & equivalence partitioning
- Bug tracking and resolution via bug tracking software (Taiga, Redmine, Trello, JIRA etc.)
- Knowledge of (Functional/UI Automation) is plus
- Knowledge of Performance Automation is plus
Technical Skills Required:
The applicant should have command on:
- Good planning, organization and task management skills
- Good Database Testing concepts
- Using various Operating systems (Windows, Mac etc.)
- Good technical writing abilities (Test Case writing/ Test Scenario writing)
- Must be a good team player
- Should possess very good verbal and written communication skills
Areas of Knowledge:
The applicant should have strong knowledge of following:
- Different imaging tools like SnagIt, Jing, PicPick etc.
- SDLC specially for SQA activities in Agile/Scrum Model
Following testing types:
- Black Box
- Grey Box
- Functional
- Regression
- Cross Browsers and Platforms Testing
- Security
- Usability
- Mobile Application Testing
