We are looking for self-driven, dynamic and results-oriented supply Chain Manager who would be responsible for the purchasing management function for raw materials needed for Chemical Plant involved in manufacturing of industrial chemicals related to Coating ( Paints ), Textile & Paper industry.
The focus of this role would be to identify cost competitive pricing from suppliers, negotiating contracts and timely delivery of quality products that meet all regulatory requirements.
Task & duties
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the purchasing activities for all raw materials in containerized & Bulk qty.
- Order critical and strategic raw materials for production department as per sales forecast.
- Negotiate competitive pricing and delivery of raw materials from various local and imported suppliers for group of companies.
- Promptly advise the manufacturing plants, labs and sales manager on supply and pricing changes as per international price trends.
- Work in conjunction with the technical departments to determine primary and secondary material sources.
- Ensure budgets and costs are met, updated and maintained in the company purchasing system.
- Prepare regular communication and reports as required.
- Monitor raw material price regularly and keep up to date with current trends to all stakeholders.
- Work with the management teams to provide good communication to all purchasers, technical and manufacturing personnel.
- Provide prompt and continuous communication with suppliers and company personnel as required.
Requirements
- We are looking for self-driven, dynamic and results-oriented supply Chain Manager with minimum 10 years related experience in Industrial Chemicals’ Business.
- The candidates must be graduates having good interpersonal skills.
