Essential Requirements:
- 2 Years’ experience of Linux & Windows systems design, implementation and administration in high availability and clustering environment.
- Atleast 1 year experience in Management of Cloud Infrastructure on AWS/MS Azure/Oracle Cloud or any other major Cloud Platform on a mixed production environment.
- Knowledge of data center operations / applications, client / server computing and production operations support.
- Monitoring computing resource utilization, patch management, maintaining security posture, and user administration.
- Develop and improve processes via scripts / automation
- Good understanding of and experience with IT security and data protection
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a project team
- NFS / SAMBA, DNS, Iptables / SELINUX, SAN / NAS / iSCSi.
Good To Have:
- GIT / JIRA / Confluence / Jenkins / Ansible experience a plus.
- Docker / K8s experience a plus.
- AWS / Azure / OCI / Red Hat Certifications a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build, design, deploy, maintain and lead the implementation of Cloud solutions across multiple public cloud offerings, e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle/Google Cloud
- Support in pre-sales, development and presentation of prototypes
- Technical consulting in all project phases, including consulting and coordination with business departments of the customer
- Design and develop cloud-based infrastructure and platform solutions
- Gather technical requirements, and analyze findings to provide appropriate cloud solution recommendations and adoption strategy
- Learn and adopt new tools and techniques to increase performance, automation, and scalability
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required; maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
- Participate in the design, implementation and management of workload automation initiatives
- Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate, and key management.
