About the Job
Our firm is seeking a Content Writer to create compelling website content, blog posts, articles, and manage our overall web presence. We are looking for someone who will help expand our digital footprint and drive more online content.
You must know how to research various topics and industry trends and produce content on tight deadlines. Excellent grammar and writing skills are required for this position as you will be required to write, edit, and proofread letters, publications, emails, blogs, website copy, manuals, training tools, member handbooks, and other collateral as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate possesses excellent writing skills and ensures style, tone, and voice of writing is in line with existing content. The successful candidate maintains comfort addressing and reporting on ongoing projects. The successful candidate is detail-oriented and able to work independently while meeting company objectives and expectations.
Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio, bachelor’s degree, and relevant work experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related discipline
- 5 years of dedicated content marketing experience at an agency or medium to large corporation
- 5 years excellent copy writing skills, a journalism background would be a plus
- Knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO and web analytics
- Has a demonstrable passion for making creative content on a spectrum of media platforms - social, streaming, AR, music, film, interactive, etc.
Familiar working with almost every content creation format out there: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite & design templates in Canva or Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, TikTok, Instagram, FB Live, etc.
