Receptionist

We are looking for a responsible and driven young lady who enjoys engaging with clients, and problem solving. Ultimately, you will help boost our reputation by building friendly, trusting relationships with customers. This role can also lead to the position of Salon Manager in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warmly greet clients, walk them to the proper beauty station and inform assigned beauticians of their arrival

2. Book and confirm appointments via phone and email

3. Process transactions (cash and credit cards) and issue receipts

4. Offer beverages and chat with clients who are in the waiting area

5. Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability

6. Inform clients about new services and discounts

7. Cross-sell services and products when appropriate

8. Update client records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered

9. Manage call center10. Maintain a tidy reception area

Requirements:

1. Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist, Front Desk Representative or similar role

2. Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers and POS systems

3. Familiarity with processing transactions

4. Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude

5. Solid organization and record-keeping skills

6. An ability to remain calm under stressful circumstances

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of computers

8. Proficiency in English
