Scope of the assignment
The main purpose of consultancy services is to provide PPAF with exit strategy for PPR Health and Nutrition component. The consultant is expected to do, but not limited to, the following tasks:
· Review of project documentations to understand the programme, health initiatives under PPR and PPAF and identify major learnings and challenges
· Review of relevant literature regarding community based health programmes
· Meetings and discussions with relevant stakeholders (PPR trained CRPs, members of District Development Forums etc. in PPR districts (at least 5 districts, to be finalized in consultation with PPAF)
· Meetings with relevant government departments in PPR programme districts (at least 5 districts)
· Writing of Exit Strategy for the health component while focusing on sustainability of project interventions
· Review Village Health & Nutrition Plans (VHPN) and give suggestions to align those with the Exit Strategy while remaining within project framework
· Develop engagement framework to implement the exit strategy
· Present the Exit Strategy to PPAF management and incorporate feedback to finalize the document
