Position Description (Duties)

1. Write documents that help with business development.

2. Edit written documents in a professional and credible manner.

3. Review and update technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows).

4. Help with reviewing products, services, and project ideas.

5. Help create strategies that help with the proposal development.

6. Rewrite proposals according to feedback.

7. Do presentations.

8. Create project schedules.

9. Write copies with a consistent tone.

10. Work with coworkers such as graphic designers.

11. Meet deadlines.

Skills and Technical Competency

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or other related disciplines.

2. 3-4 years of proven experience in writing proposals.

3. Understand and explain complex technical concepts.

4. Write clear and concise proposals.

5. Strong research and analytical skills.

6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

7. Experience in the IT industry proposal writing software, such as MS Word, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Publisher, or Adobe Photoshop.
