Manager Operations

Manager Operations would be responsible for streamlining operational tasks and managing backend operations team. The incumbent shall be in charge for successful execution of projects lifecycle from project initiation to final closing. Candidate must possess a pro-active approach and go-getter attitude to ensure real-time execution of operational tasks. As a Manager Operations, candidate must ensure delivery of all operational tasks within Turn Around Time, meeting all deadlines and must have a potential to go an extra mile managing limited resources and providing deliverables in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a multi-discipline team for project execution, support, and management to meet customer requirements for all types of customers (Individuals, Agents, Merchants).

• Monitor the complete Product cycle of operational functions including Back-office Operations, Mobile Wallet registration, Debit Card Requirement, Agent/merchant onboarding, Payments, Reporting and returns from policies, procedures, production, inventory, pricing, delivery, and query resolution etc.

• Coordinates project communications internally and externally (reporting, correspondence, meetings, etc.)

• Collaborate with Sales & Account Management teams on a daily basis for reporting, planning and ad-hoc requests.

• Ensure real-time resolution and problem-solving of complaints and escalations.

• Identify project problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

• Taking ownership of all operational processes and develop efficient operational policies and procedures.

• Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the Operations team internal capacity.

• Ensure operational delivery in compliance with SBP / EP Systems policies and procedures.

• Lead the operations team with a view to achieve high standard of quality and excellence in operations.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time optimally and lead multiple projects.

• Identify key points of improvement in the processes from registration to conversion and communicate to product team.

• Conduct, monthly/quarterly operational compliance, audit, and self-assessment activities to ensure the department is prepared to undertake internal/external/SBP audit.

• Any other task assigned by the senior management on ad-hoc basis

Skills:

• Skilled in creating and implementing processes.

• Broad knowledge and experience of DFS/BB/EMI/FI and their operational needs.

• Prior experience of working in branchless banking operations/Digital financial services/fintech startups and fast paced environments would be preferable.

• Self-initiative, flexible and collaborative mindset.

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Strong focus on customer’s perspective when setting priorities and acting.

• Leadership qualities required, organizational change to assure integration of various team members

• Experience driving projects end-to-end and bringing collaborations across organizations at all levels
