Job Purpose

Onewood is looking for an experienced mobile software engineer responsible for development of multi-platform mobile applications (ANDROID, iOS, HTML5).

Responsibilities:

Design and develop applications using the Xamarin.Android, Xamarin.IOS, Xamarin.forms and .NET Framework
Play a key role in the complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, unit testing and debugging, and documentation
Perform in a scrum team role effectively managing multiple priorities
Responsible for designing and implementing applications based on a varying degree of functional specifications
Create highly sophisticated UI that takes into account mobile guidelines for Android and Apple

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field
3 years of proven work experience as Xamarin developer
Excellent knowledge of mobile application architecture
Excellent knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, REST & JSON
Excellent knowledge of Mobile Application Security
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases
Experience with test-driven development and mastery in software engineering tools
Ability to document requirements and specifications
Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design and debugging skills
Experience of source control systems and configuration management
Experience in Agile development methodologies
Experience with Apple & Windows Operating systems
Comfortable with complex data structures and algorithms, and absorbing new technologies quickly
Knowledge of Cloud deployment architectures
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to deliver quality results in a busy and dynamic business focused environment
