The Systems Administrator is accountable for operational and project related activities. Incumbent will apply excellent communication, problem-solving, change management, and systems administration skills to ensure high quality operations.
Job may allow selected Candidate to work from home - depending on expertise level and Manager's approval
Key Responsibilities:
Closely adheres to standard IT Service Management processes – change management, incident management, problem management, service level management, knowledge management and request fulfillment processes
Self Motivated, team player and someone ready to take challanges.
Provide level 2 or 3 support, and above, for any core infrastructure issue in line SLA’s and OLA’s.
Create detailed supporting documentation incident and/or project
Is expected to respond (within SLA) and troubleshoot incidents for any global location outside of business-hours. For example, during the night and at weekends.
Responsible for the uptime, resiliency and performance of all core infrastructure components under his/her responsibility
Help manage, optimize and plan capacity for IT infrastructure including but not limited to network, Compute and storage environments.
Creation and maintenance of published documentation for technical procedures, policies, and standard processes related to core infrastructure
Collaborates with project team members, providing technical expertise, assist in creation of detailed task plans and executes activities, communicating status accordingly
Research new technologies to stay informed on core infrastructure industry standards and best practices. Makes recommendations to Manager, Global Core Infrastructure for inclusion in technology roadmap
Implement, administer, and monitor security solutions, standards, and policies in accordance with Standard Information Security Framework. Investigates possible security breaches as part of incident management team

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required :
Excellent communication and presentations skills

Technical skills / Subject Matter Expert in majority of these
1. VMWare (vsphere,vcenter and other products)
2. MS Active Directory (DS, DNS, GP, etc in Multi-Domain Model)
3. Windows and Linux O/S
4. Dell/HP server/blade knowledge
5. CCNA or higher Level Knowldge of Network (TCPIP Stack)
6. Citrix knowledge would be an advantage (App, VDI,ADC/Netscaler)
7. Cloud knowledge (Azure IAAS, Office 365)
8. Excellent IT Security Understanding
9. Firewall's Knowledge would be a plus
