Major Responsibilities:

Have expertise sufficient to handle second and third-level problems.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
Sufficiently secure a system.
Build a knowledge base.
Create and document standards.
Interface with other teams to solve problems.
Script or program automated tasks.
Mentor and train less experienced system administrators.
Work efficiently at the command line.
Researching new technologies and suggesting new solutions.

What is required?

Communication - Excellent verbal skills - ability to communicate with clients, peers, management and vendors.
Training and Certifications in related disciplines highly regarded (VMWare vSphere, vRealize, Horizon, RedHat RHCSA, Exchange, Cisco CCNA DC, CCNP DC)
ITIL - Sound knowledge of ITIL practices, ITIL certification would be an advantage.
Time Management - Ability to prioritize workload, manage time and schedule tasks, and is resilient to changing priorities.
Relevant experience of more than 2 years.
