As a Sr. Business Analyst you can expect your day-to-day responsibilities at different levels to include understanding of the following:
1. Business Level
How the business work flows operationally.
How it is done within our organization
By analyzing the business process (a textual model) and creating business process flow diagrams (a visual model).
2. Software Level
How the software system supports business workflows
How it is done within our organization
Through functional requirements models like use cases and wireframes. By understanding the third party tools that can be leveraged to make the business model successful.
3. Information Level
How data and information are stored and maintained by an organization.
How it is done within our organization
By data modeling techniques including an entity relationship diagram (ERD), data dictionary, data map, and system context diagram.
Essential Qualification
Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, etc. Preferred Qualification Certification/ Diploma in Business analytics
Experience
3-4 years experience in similar job profile
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Project, team, time and task management.
2. Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand business requirements with respect to the project.
3. Conduct market research
4. Competitor Analysis
5. Build flow Diagrams with details that include user roles in the project, modules and collaborator identification, third party tools to be used, and detailed process.
6. Write & Review User Stories on JIRA
7. Create Design Screens using Figma
8. Sprint planning to complete the project as per defined timeline
