SharePoint Consultant (Support)

Providing Support Servcies to various customers on site / remotely.

Qualifications • Reasonable client communication/demo skills required. • Entry level experience integrating HTML 5/CSS 3 elements with SharePoint. • Should have hands on experience on JavaScript, JQuery, SharePoint Content Query Web Part. • Entry level understanding of SharePoint architecture (farm, web app, site collection, site) and how proposed solutions would interact with that architecture. • Experience with responsive web design. • Ability to think beyond the explicit direction from the client to understand what they are trying to achieve. • Self-motivated; able to prioritize and multi-task. • Strong team interaction and problem solving skills. • Conduct cross-browser and quality assurance testing. • Ability to grasp new technologies quickly.

Desired • Familiarity with Agile Project Management techniques. • Aware of W3C Standards and Specifications and best practices. • Experience working with SharePoint and/or Office 365 a plus.

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in experience.

· 1-2 years of professional experience as SharePoint/.Net Developer, SharePoint certifications are plus

· Entry level experience in C#, .NET, XML, JSON, XSLT, Web Services

· Experience with Multi-lingual support, Mobile/responsive design, JavaScript, JS libraries and JQuery

· Experience on the configuration, deployment and maintenance of web applications

· Thorough understanding of event receivers, features, timer jobs and managed metadata services

· Experience migrating SharePoint applications to newer versions

· Thorough understanding of search configurations

· Should be able to recommend and implement best practices for code reuse, better scalability, performance and availability

· Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical experience providing telephone and remote technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software.

· Experience with different Operating Systems such as Mac, general Linux, Mobile devices is a plus
