1. Rational of the Guidebook:
The purpose of this consultancy is to compile the Shared Futures project guidebook encapsulating interfaith socioeconomic cooperation methodology, challenges and lessons learnt. It will be used as a practical toolkit by different faith leaders to promote peace in society. The guidebook will explain the process of engaging the youth bulge in Pakistan in a constructive way to improve the economic, social and political life of the Pakistani nation.
2. Objectives of the Guidebook:
The guidebook will be having the following objectives
2.1 To promote interfaith harmony by sharing the model of interfaith socioeconomic cooperation.
2.2 To enable existing and potential partners to replicate the interfaith harmony within their communities.
2.3 To enhance the visibility of the Shared Futures model in society.
3. Deliverable required from the Consultant
The timeline to complete the deliverables from August 2, 2021 to August 25, 2021. All final deliverables should be completed on or before the deadline. PMS will be holding a meeting with the consultant for sharing the concept of the project and helping him/her to understand the aim of the interventions. After the orientation meeting the following deliverables will be required on the given timeline:

4.1 Deliverable. Guidebook Outline – The guidebook will be written in
English. 2nd August 2021
4.2 Deliverable. Guidebook first draft Review from PMS
The guidebook will be including the Cover Page, Back Page, PMS Vision
and Mission, Origin of the Shared Futures Idea, Page Numbers, Acknowledgment, Content of the Shared Futures Methodology, animated
pictures, Recommendations for the promotion of interfaith harmony in Pakistan given by the stakeholders.
The consultant will be sharing the first draft of the guidebook on August 5,
2021, with PMS for providing its feedback. 10 th August 2021
4.3 Deliverable. Feedback will be incorporated by the consultant 15 th August 2021
4.4 Deliverable. Finalization of the guidebook by PMS management 20th August 2021
4.5 Deliverable. The final draft of the guidebook will be 25 to 30 pages with
animated pictures on a maximum of 10 pages. 25 th August 2021
5. Skills and Expertise
To undertake this assignment, the consultant must be able to demonstrate the following skills expertise and accedmic background through his profile.
5.1 Minimum master’s degree (or equivalent) in social sciences or other related fields.
5.2 Good understanding and knowledge of Social Cohesion and Peacebuilding in the context of Pakistan.
5.3 Experience in conducting studies/researches/similar kinds of assignments.
5.4 The ability to write excellent concise and clear English.
5.5 Good verbal and other communication skills.
5.6 Should be able to meet deadlines of an assignment
5.7 Close working experience of development organizations.
