Designation : IT Support Specialist

Reports to : Assistant Manager Technical

Scope: This position exists to provide immediate resolution/feedback to Cellular Mobile Operators (CMO’s) issues/queries in the evening and night shifts as well as during the morning shift on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Informing PMD’s Technical Staff and the Cellular Mobile Operators PoCs regarding any Outages or Issues, both at PMD or the Cellular Mobile Operator End – Ensure Compliance to Escalation Matrix
Monitoring of all Systems and Services: Keeping Track of Application Logs for all PMD Hosted Systems & Services
Monitoring WAN and LAN Networks to ensure smooth connectivity
Keeping Track of Power (WAPDA, Generators, UPS) & generate regular reports
Early Identification and First Level Troubleshooting & Rectification of Issues
Monitoring & Reporting of Back-Ups Executions & Restoration
Coordination with Vendors and Ensuring Compliance of SLAs
Coordination / Follow-Up with Internal & External Technical Teams for the Resolution of Issues
Log all Activities / Generate Initial Incident Reports

Principal Accountabilities

Timely Relaying of Information regarding Outages / Issues to all Stake Holders
Timely Escalations
Timely Follow-up of Issues
Thorough Monitoring of All Systems and Services
Timely logging and tracking of Cellular Mobile Operators complaints and queries.
Furnishing Daily reports (Internal & External)
