Project Manager, will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of projects from initiation to completion.
The resource will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project objectives are met within scope, timeline, and budget.
His/Her role will encompass a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
He/She will gather information and updates from project team members regarding the status and progress of their tasks and will compile and communicate this information to relevant stakeholders, providing them with a comprehensive overview of the project`s status and any potential challenges.
KPI Monitoring: He/She will track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) that indicate the project`s overall performance and success. This information will help you make informed decisions, identify areas of improvement, and ensure that the project aligns with its objectives.Checklist Monitoring: One will manage and track a checklist of tasks or criteria essential for project completion. This will ensure that all necessary steps are being taken and that no vital components are overlooked.
PM Tool Management: You will select, implement, and maintain appropriate project management tools and platforms. This may include software solutions for task management, collaboration, communication, and reporting.
Dashboards Setup: He/She will set up dashboards that provide a centralized view of key project metrics, progress, and status. This will enable project managers and stakeholders to quickly access and visualize project information, facilitating better decision-making and real-time tracking.
Auditing: He/She will conduct systematic reviews and assessments of project processes, documentation, and performance. This will help identify areas of non-compliance, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement, contributing to the overall effectiveness and quality of project management practices.New Tools & Platform Onboarding: The resource will ensure smooth integration and adoption of new tools or platforms within the project or organization. This will involve providing training, support, and resources to project team members to maximize the benefits and efficiency gained from using these tools.
Consultant Management: One will oversee and coordinate external consultants or contractors working on the project. This includes defining project requirements, selecting suitable consultants, managing contracts, and monitoring their performance and deliverables.
External Communication:One will establish and maintain effective communication channels with external stakeholders, such as clients, vendors, or regulatory bodies. Clear and consistent communication will help manage expectations, resolve issues, and ensure that project goals and requirements are understood by all parties involved.
Sprint Monitoring: If applicable to the project methodology, He/She will monitor the completion of tasks within short, time-boxed periods called sprints. This will involve tracking the team`s progress, assessing velocity, and ensuring adherence to agile principles.
