Software Engineer (SE)
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Deployments of Web Applications and Services on all Environments like Production, Training and Test.
- Monitoring of Test/ Training/ Production Environments and systems.
- Configuration of Staging Servers including Web, Application and Services.
- Coordinate and Assist with Developers to debug issues.
- Working experience/ knowledge of Enterprise level large web application environments (Web Farms/Clusters)
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts)
- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
- Experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g. Tomcat, JBoss, IIS)
- Maintain backups.
Special Skills
- Installation/Configuration of IIS based environments.
- Installation/Configuration of latest monitoring/log analysis tools available.
- Deployments of change sets through TFS on environments (Prod, Training and Test).
- Monitoring/Troubleshooting of all Application nodes in Web Farms.
- Monitoring/Troubleshooting of all Services nodes in Web Farms.
- Monitoring/Troubleshooting of all Print nodes in Web Farms.
- Monitoring/Troubleshooting of all SAN nodes.
- Implementation/Configuration of web security on application layer (SSL certificates etc.)
- Maintaining of Backups.
- Preparation of related documents using Visio/relevant tools.
Junior Software Engineer (JSE)
- Deployments of Web Applications and Services on all Environments like Training and Test.
- Assist in managing and monitoring of all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Monitoring of Test/ Training/ Production Environments and systems.
- Assist in configuration of Staging Servers including Web, Application and Services.
- Coordinate and Assist with Developers to debug issues.
- Working experience/ knowledge of Enterprise level large web application environments (Web Farms/ Clusters)
- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
- Knowledge of web servers like Tomcat, JBoss and IIS etc.
- Assist in Installation/ configuration of Web servers.
- Assist in preparation (installation/configuration) of Windows/ Linux/Java and JBoss based environments.
- Maintaining of Backups
- Preparation of related documents using Visio/relevant tools.
Special Skills
- Installation/ Configuration of Linux/ Java and JBoss based environments.
- Installation/Configuration) of JBoss / JBoss EAP7.x
- Erecting of Standalone Linux/ Java based web Farm.
- Deployments of bundles/ packages (.war) on environments like Prod, Training and Test.
- Configuration/installation of latest monitoring/log analysis tools available.
- Ensure system High Availability, reliability and scalability.
- Implementation/Configuration of web security on application layer (SSL certificates etc.)
- Monitoring/Troubleshooting of all Application nodes in Web Farms (Linux/JBoss).
