Major Responsibilities:

Organizational Development Strategy:

  • Assist CHRO in developing and implementing the organization's OD strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement by conducting needs assessments, analyzing data, and gathering feedback from employees and stakeholders.
  • Design and execute interventions, initiatives, and programs to support organizational change, talent development, and employee engagement. Talent Management:
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to develop and execute talent management strategies and programs, including talent acquisition, performance management, career development, and succession planning.
  • Identify talent gaps and develop strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Implement processes and tools to assess and measure employee performance, potential, and readiness for promotion.
  • Partner with managers to provide guidance and support in talent assessment, coaching, and development. Diversity & Inclusion (D&I): • Develop and implement the organization's D&I strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization. • Partner with other HR teams to ensure inclusive practices in talent acquisition and retention.
  • Design and deliver training programs to promote awareness and educate employees on D&I topics.
  • Collaborate with employee resource groups or affinity networks to create an inclusive environment. Change Management:
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives by developing change management plans, communication strategies, and training programs.
  • Assess change readiness and develop strategies to address resistance and drive adoption.
  • Partner with leaders to communicate the purpose and benefits of change, and ensure alignment with the organization's vision and values.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives and make adjustments as needed. Employee Engagement:
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive work culture.
  • Conduct employee surveys and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and action planning.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to design and implement recognition and reward programs.
  • Develop and support employee feedback mechanisms and channels to promote open communication.

Project Management of OD Interventions:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end project management process for OD interventions, ensuring successful planning, execution, and evaluation.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against established objectives.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support CHRO in executing Performance Management & Promotion related activities
  • Any other task assigned by the CHRO.

Skill Set Required: 

  • Strong knowledge of talent management practices, D&I principles, change management methodologies, employee engagement strategies, and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform decision-making.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools, data analysis tools, HRIS systems, and other relevant software.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.

Pakistan Single Window

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is an ICT-based system in Pakistan providing a single window for trade. PSW is a facility that allows parties involved in trade and transport to lodge standardized information and documents at a single-entry point to fulfill all import, export, and transit-related regulatory requirements. If information is electronic, then individual data elements need to be submitted only once. PSW will connect relevant government departments with each other and with economic operators like importers, exporters, customs agents, shipping agents, transporters etc, in Pakistan for efficient management of cross border trade. It will provide the ease and transparency in achieving compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, through an on-line facility, that will intelligently handle the information for each transaction without the need to provide same information more than once or to physically visit such government departments. Pakistan has committed to implement various provisions of World Trade Organization’s (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreement that includes implementation of a National Single Window (NSW) system before February, 2022. Pakistan also needs PSW implementation to overhaul management of its external trade for reducing time, cost and complexity involved to improve its position in various global rankings on competitiveness and ease of doing business. Guiding vision and mission objectives: VISION: Pakistan will establish a world-class automated hub by 2022, offering services and creating efficiencies, to reduce cross border trade related costs, time and complications for improved trade facilitation and compliance. MISSION: Improve cross-border trader processing by providing centralized ICT based services, simplified processes, effective and reliable automation, harmonized data exchange and risk-based selectivity in enforcement of government’s regulations.
