This is a full-time role based in our main office RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage relationships with Commerce platform providers and other companies in the e-commerce space
Identify new partners and negotiate business and technical terms with them
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to identify growth opportunities
Inform, influence, support, and execute our product decisions
Track, analyze, influence, and communicate key metrics to build opportunities and experiences that create scale and meaningful ecosystem value
Monitor and manage customer reviews related to product assortment and update product content and site messaging to better service the consumer
Proactively seek opportunities to improve marketplace strategies and tactics, enhance customer experience and maximize ROI

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years experience working within the commerce and business development space
Experience in commerce partnerships and commerce platforms
Experience communicating and presenting ideas to external and internal audiences on emerging opportunities for Marketplace
Experience in partner management, a track record of influencing change across organizations
Industry, media and conference presentation experience
Quantitative and qualitative analytical experience with knowledge of operating principles
Experience engaging with C-level of any partner organization
Negotiation and vendor management skills
Strong understanding of Shopify ecommerce platform
Keen analytical mind, strong on planning, detail and accuracy, and be a demonstrably creative thinker.
