A non-for-profit organization engaged in support of vulnerable communities through its programmes for Orphan kind, Thirst Relief, Emergency Response, Healthcare and Feed Our World in various areas all over the country. Organization requires services of “MALE NURSE / MEDICAL TECHNICIAN”, duties of that position could be as under but not limited to these:

1. To act as a main service provider for a number of admitted elderly persons. Ensuring that you develop a good working relationship with them on admission in the home and assist them to settle in;

2. To assist the admitted elderly persons in personal care including meals, medication, routine checkups, washing, bathing, dressing and toilet needs;

3. Responding promptly to call bells and provide them needed service in time;

4. To report any accidents or unexplained injuries immediately to the Elderly Home Supervisor and Project Officer;

5. To ensure that admitted elderly persons are socially presentable in appearance at all times;

6. To ensure that admitted elderly persons have any aids e.g. - Dentures, Hearing Aids, Spectacles etc fitted, cleaned and in working order;

7. To assist the admitted elderly persons in rehabilitation activities including exercises and/or social engagement / counseling after any illness, emotional event or psychological pressure;

8. To arrange and assist in the cleaning of the Elderly Home as the need arises, particularly dining areas after meals and to support infection control e.g. cleaning up spills immediately, with the help of relevant staff;

9. To ensure that all the assets, supplies and facilities of Elderly Home remain safe and sound;

10. To ensure no expense is made without proper authorization by you or other subordinate staff like cook, cleaner or security guard or without following given procedure / documentation;

11. To ensure that the no unauthorized person uses the Elderly Home facilities or stays in without authorization;

12. To ensure availability of all necessities including kitchen supplies, clean drinking water, tank water, electricity etc;

13. Perform duties within the context of team objectives. Maintain the positive relationships with other employees;

14. Attend trainings / staff meetings if required;

15. Any other task as and when assigned by the Supervisor.
