• Oversee the implementation of programme and grant management portfolio of assigned partner organizations • Provide day-to-day support to PMU and partners staff in the field including Livelihood activities designing, planning and supervising, , scope of work delivery, personnel, project budget management, and grant management, and regulatory compliance throughout the project life. • Oversee project activities, approve partners before executing the livelihood and poverty graduation activities in the field, responsible for monitoring monthly costs using contract budget monitor, tracking contract expenditures against budget and total obligated funds Contribute to the preparation of high-quality donor reports • Provide technical support in carrying out market assessments and identifying the needs and suitability of the household for the asset to be provided for the livelihood and poverty graduation. • Provide expert input in the development of Livelihood Investment Plan (LIP) for the selected households in the target areas. • Conduct internal project audits to identify areas of weakness and risk; develop action plans to mitigate those risks; and oversee external program audits and financial reviews. • Work with the project team to ensure timely and quality development of client reporting including work plans, activity and deliverable approval, quarterly and annual technical and financial reports, and any other client required reporting. • Develop strategies and solutions to troubleshoot project implementation issues, including but not limited to technical delivery, contractual, financial, personnel, compliance, or client relations matters. • Actively liaise with relevant stakeholders including government departments to avoid duplication and create synergies. • Develop strong relationships with government, civil society and private sector counterparts. • Identify opportunities for resource mobilization and new partnerships and support proposal and partnership development efforts. • Coordinate and support the development and testing of innovative ideas, products and processes to strengthen and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of NPGP programming • Lead project programming related to increasing livelihood opportunities and priorities as defined by community engagement initiatives. • Coordinate and maintain information flow internally within the ministry and departments and externally with other stakeholders including implementing partners and provincial governments. • Provide a road map to guide the overall implementation of the resilience approach and programming, with emphasis on programmatic methods and result-based management approach. • Provide support in the development of tools and guideline documents (SOPs) for the project team and development partner staff to improve the quality of project interventions. • Conduct regular reviews of NPGP with partners to find opportunities for innovative solutions • Assist in finalizing templates to ensure the model is replicable and scalable, including drafting of necessary documents and templates and other follow-up activities as necessary • Develop internal monitoring and operational plans that help programme implementation; • Provide guidance and oversight to the implementing partners in the implementation of livelihood activities with a major focus on economic development. • To strengthen, guide and monitor the livelihood interventions and ensure compliance with NPGP’s overall goals for livelihoods programming. • Build the capacities of the project team on skill-based innovative sustainable development community-based models. • Promote awareness and understanding of the government and civil society concerning the norms, standards and best practices on sustainable solutions of climate change and livelihoods.
