Project is being implemented in 30 drought affected villages of Taluka Dahili in District Tharparkar, to support the 5000 target population in mitigating droughts impacts through resilient agriculture and livestock management and ensure food security. Besides, children awareness on climate change, disaster management and child-friendly schooling is key intervention of the project.
Project activities have directly addressed to the improved food security and reduced malnutrition, improved capacities to collect and store rainwater and use these water resources effectively to meet household water needs, improved and diversified to better withstand climate-induced extreme events, energy-efficient stoves and have reduced the consumption of firewood, the development of smoke in the kitchens and the risk of fire or burns in the houses, so that the health hazards, especially for women and children, are reduced and Environmental conditions in schools are improved and schoolchildren, teachers and education authority officials are aware of the effects of climate change and are sensitised to local adaptation options
In addition, the project contributes to the sustainability objectives SDG 1 (end poverty), SDG 13 (measures to combat climate change and its impacts) and SDG 15 (protect terrestrial ecosystems), and indirectly to SDG 2, 3 and 4.
Result 1: 5,000 households have improved food security and reduced malnutrition
Result 2: The project communities have improved capacities to collect and store rainwater and use these water resources effectively to meet household water needs.

The social mobilization program acts as the organization’s core/backbone to which all the other programs are anchored, the community institutions are the nurseries where community learns to get organized and work for their own development. According to the job responsibilities the Key role is to supervise social mobilization team, Community Facilitators, and organize the training events for Social Mobilization Team/ Community Facilitators and women groups mobilize, organize and motivate the community to take part in the development activities. Social Mobilization, thus, is the foundation of all activities. This entails creating a proactive community sensitized to its problems and capable of addressing them. To meet such objective, Self-Help Groups (SHGs) are formed. Social Mobilization is a long and demanding process requiring guidance, supervision and monitoring of Social Mobilizers. 
The concept of second-generation social mobilization culminating into formation of Custer Level Association (CLA) has been introduced in the self-help approach and strategy. This is an umbrella organization having more than one SHGs in its fold. Cluster Level Associations (CLAs) are further federated at union council level to form Federation. Federating SHGs into CLAs and CLAs into Federations provides rural communities with the opportunity to mobilize the women for social, political and economic empowerment. The Federations in particular, with their union council level structure, not only aggregate the collective requirements of its CLAs but also form linkages with those external organizations and government line departments which best serve the developmental requirements of its communities. The power of social mobilization therefore provides poor communities with a unified vision and voice for availing resources and services which were previously inaccessible to them.
