My work as a consultant for the Qatar chapter of The Brookings Institution comprises of print, mobile and web design production. My design products are published across the company website, its social media channels and within its research and promotional publications.

My core responsibilities lie in creating innovative and authentic design solutions across multimedia platforms in compliance with company aesthetics and brand standards. I manage concurrent design projects with tightly controlled deadlines in coordination with the communications and research departments. I focus on producing sustainable and high quality design templates to minimize overall design costs and liabilities.

For this purpose I started the initiative of brand design orientation and training workshops for communications interns. I also assist them with project direction and design. Lastly I pitch weekly design schemes and produce prototypes with advanced technologies to maximize user interactivity across different media.

My previous responsibilities at the Brookings Doha Center entailed working in their communications department and press center. I generated daily news reports about Qatar\'s foreign policy in relation to the ongoing Gulf crisis. In addition to this I wrote monthly news articles for the company website regarding diplomatic developments in the GCC.

My work also comprised of graphic design and multimedia production for their online and social media networks. I produced and edited multimedia content featuring Brookings research fellows to facilitate maximum outreach. I also produced and edited video content for promotions, events and interview research.

Aside from this I strategically created social media scripts to increase online traffic and generated graphic design content for Brookings online networks. A major component of my work experience was the pitching and execution of conceptual strategies for improving the website\'s multimedia content.

In my position as a staff writer for The Daily Q I wrote and edited hard news, features, opinion pieces and multimedia scripts. I created thoroughly researched, investigative content with the protected use of information sources. I utilized innovative production techniques for multimedia content such as Knight Lab resources for effective storytelling.

In the course of my experience as a reporter for The Daily Q, I pitched creative ideas and multimedia proposals in brainstorming sessions for online content. I interviewed key public officials, social workers, academics, human rights organizations, artists, cultural influencers and migrant laborers for investigative pieces and magazine content.

I worked on the Qatar Museums Year of Culture initiative which is the Qatari government\'s annual cross cultural exchange with its trade allies. As a communications intern for Qatar- Brazil 2014, I wrote promotional copy and press releases for the Qatar-Brazil 2014 cultural relations campaign. I also created and managed social media scripts and blog posts. In addition to this I cultivated key relationships with vendors, stakeholders, local press and artists.

I managed press relations and secured interview opportunities for Qatari artists. I was also in charge of executing logistical tasks for each event in terms of ticket sales, setting up and scouting for locations. Lastly I produced photographic and video content for the Qatar Museums blog and social media accounts.
