• Plans, schedules, coordinates and provides work guidance for the preparation of studies, designs, reports, correspondence, statistics or other presentations to assure adequacy and conformance to overall objectives in the solution of safety engineering problems.
• Formulates and/or guides the formulation of the basis for engineering studies or projects in any of the areas of safety engineering and assures analysis and evaluation as to scope, effect on existing installation, economic value, long-range planning and budgetary considerations.
• Discusses, coordinates activities, and resolves loss prevention problems; developing factual and objective information so that those who have the ultimate decision-making responsibility can make sound decisions concerning the appropriate action to be taken.
