My job responsibilities are as follow:• Installation, upgradation and configuration of Linux and windows servers.• Involved in creating new domain users, groups and setup their shared access directories and assign appropriate access restrictions to software and directories & files.• Performance Monitoring & System and Hardware Maintenance• Installation and Configuration of Router, L2 & L3 Switches, Firewall and Network Printers.• Responsible for Documentation of all network and system related configurations.• Configuration and Management of VMware based virtualized and Physical Server infrastructure of our campus.• Configuration, Maintenance and Administration of Computer LAB containing 160+ systems.• Involved in Managing and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Servers, Active Directory, Domain Controller, DHCP, Fileservers Servers, SQL Servers, ESXI and vCenter Servers.• Manage and Configuration of Hill Stone and PfSense Firewalls to ensure secure network accessibility, threat management and intrusion prevention.• Implement Network Security policies including firewall policies, ACL, NAT, internet browsing restrictions and software downloads restrictions.• Configuration and troubleshooting of Site to Site VPN connecting 200+ campuses with Head Office.• Involved in Managing and troubleshooting of Remote access for faculty and other staff members.• Manage inventory of software application, hardware components and IT supplies.

Security and access control of shared network resources.• Communication with staff or clients through a series of actions either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve system related issues.• Provide network or system related support to staff members and external clients.• Troubleshooting of system and network related problems and implementing the best solution to solve the problem as soon as possible.• Hardware maintenance and replacement as per required.• Testing and evaluation of new hardware and software.
