I am working as Shift Engineer Power house (40MW Captive Power plant, 5.9X4MW Niigata Engines and 15.9MW Wartsila dual fuel engine)
Responsibilities During Shift are
1. Plant Start up
2. Plant Shut down
3. Operation of Plant
4. Emergency Handling
5. Troubleshooting
6. Issuance of PTW (Permit to Work)
7. Supervision of Daily maintenance jobs
8. Coordination with Grid for the Load transfer as per Demand
9. Preparation of Shift Reports
10. Ensuring safety of personnel and Static/Rotary equipment
11. Preparation of standard operation procedure and operation check lists
12. Ensuring safe and efficient running of the plant
13. Inspection of the unit and its auxiliaries prior to start up, during operation and after shut down
14. Coordination with CBM(Condition Base management) for the inspection of rotary equipments
15. Preparation of opportunity lists and coordinate with Electrical and Mechanical departments for the execution during opportunity
16. LOTOTO (Log out, Tag out and Try out) of the equipment before handing over to maintenance team

Responsibilities
1. Erection as per Drawing
2. Coordinate with Contractor, Consultant and Supplier for the IFR and IFC drawings
4. Preparation of Purchase Requirement
5. Preparation of Comparative Statement (CS) and recommended Comparative Statement (RCS) for the issuance of Purchase order
6. Preparation of weekly progress Reports

American Technical Company is HVAC based company deal with the Erection and Commissioning of HVAC system.
Responsibilities were
1. Get approved HVAC Drawings, MEP coordination drawings, Work method statement and Project specification from Project Engineer.
2. Ensure the site work i.e ducting, piping etc.
3. Ensure the Safety at the site.
4. Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress reports.
5. Assist the commissioning team.

Responsibilities were;
1. Provide Technical support to the team.
2. Preparation of BOQ.
3. Managing of all material and manpower.
